Dr Ainara Aguadero is a Lecturer in the Department of Materials of ICL. She is an expert on the development of ceramic conductors for energy applications (solid oxide fuel cells, electrolysers and batteries). She has published 53 peer reviewed papers with over 1.5k citations (h=22), and she holds 1 patent. She successfully obtained research funding via fellowships and awards totalling over £3M, in addition to her contributions to a number of national and international projects. She is a Science Board member for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Supergen (H2FC) and the Superstore Hub at UK. She is the Departmental Manager of the surface analysis and the oxygen isotope exchange facilities.
