Dr David Parfitt is a Senior Lecturer in Materials Engineering (2015 – to date) at Coventry University. Previously he worked as a Principle Technologist for Rolls-Royce Nuclear Materials and Chemsitry Department (2010-2015) and as a Research Associate at Imperial College London (2006-2010). He has a PhD and undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford Department of Physics. His research spans many areas of materials modelling and simulation in support of the behaviour of battery, fuel cell and nuclear materials. He has published 35 journal papers (H-index 15).
